Before RDI®, as my sons began to get older, I became increasingly frustrated with the long-term limitations of the current interventions, therapy programs and school educational plans for children with dynamic intelligence difficulties.  While both boys had made, and continued to make progress with isolated skills and rote knowledge, their overall dynamic developmental progress had gaps that were not being addressed to ensure their happy, successful life out in the real dynamic world.     That’s when I discovered RDI®!

I had heard about RDI® for years, but it was now becoming something to research and start for my sons to enable them to have a purposeful, connected quality of life.  RDI® gave me the hope that my sons will in fact develop those dynamic quality of life functions so they can have the happiest life possible, filled with successful relationships and independence that all parents dream of for their children.  RDI® gave me that gift to give to my sons.

Because I wanted to give all families affected by the Autism Spectrum Disorder and other developmental disorders the same opportunity for this life-changing remediation program, I made the decision in 2008 to apply for the certification program with The Connections Center.  After 14 months of intensive training and case work, I became an RDI® Certified Consultant in February, 2010.

As a former accounting and business executive, I can relate to the professional and parenting demands that special needs parents face each and every day.  I am a fellow special needs parent that understands the anxiety and the urgency, the hopes and the dreams, associated with parenting a child with developmental challenges.  As an RDI® Certified Consultant, I am certain that both my personal experience of parenting two children with dynamic intelligence obstacles, and my practical application of The RDI® Program, will be an invaluable asset to my clients and their families in their special parenting journey.
